conditions update:All of new england is at jay peak right now. Its the only mountainhere with any decent snow, which is sad because the conditionsthere are…well…poor. Glare ice and rocks in the trails, hard packin the glades. Luckily there is a snowstorm going on right now, which will help for the upcoming rally.

Thats awesome! I love k2 stuff, always have. Of all the ski companies that got into snowboarding to make a quick buck, atleast they did it right with research, design, innovation, capital, and dedication. My old k2 dart snowboard from 1995 or so finally just delamed around the nose this year. 15 years to break says alot to me! If their new stuff is the same quality as the old with updated technology, then I think you'll have those boots for quite a while 🙂 Nice purchase!

This is an update to this review, since I am now riding these every day.More pros! These things respond 100x better than I thought they would. Its a completely different feel than any other binding I've everridden. Other than the pressure of the heel strap, you cant feel thebindings. They twist and flex just enough so when you're poweringdown the mountain you cant feel the side to side restraint of thebindings themselves.Cons 🙁  : The heel strap (or hell strap because it hurts) doesnt have enough of a cutout in the middle to comfortably go over my boots. So to get that secure feeling in the bottom of my heel I have to ratchet them extra tight, which hurts the top of my foot. I haven't found an adjustment to help with this yet.2nd, the ratchets get clogged and stuck…alot. Sometimes you have to fight them really hard to get them off, but I found the trick

ill be there! :Dyou want to do 2 days at jay? smugglers notch is part of the buy 1 get 1 program for anyone in vt, ny, or nh, so its as cheap as jay to ride if you want some variety. and its a huge place!and stowe…. its $180 for 2, no discounts other than a group rate, so that might be alittle expensive to young people that might show up, so do you want to wait till we have a list of people to confirm this? i love that mountain and think its worth it, but i remember in my early 20's that 180 to ride is a bit ridiculous you know?and anyone that is comming, if you have a passport, bring it. bromont is really close to jay peak (30 mins away in canada) and they do night skiing, sometimes all night long, so that might be an option since all the resorts except bolton valley and whiteface close at 4.what do you think frosty? input!

I can tell you why I do, but I imagine everyone has a reason for liking the board company that they usually go with. I know my friend Jay only buys Ride stuff because of the bindings. Which I have to admit, if there was a Ride board I liked, I would probably switch over to them…I liked them at first because of the silly graphics. But after riding the same one for years and riding demos when my board was in the shop getting tuned or shopping for a new one, I realized how spoiled I was riding something I was completely comfortable with, trusted, and just had a crazy good time riding. So when it came time for a new one, graphics were the last of my concern (well..kind of, their new graphics are pretty crappy minus Bob Ross, I just got lucky that every board I wanted was something I really liked graphically) and once again, Forum had a board that was at a good price, and se

i thought it would be too flexible too, but when we put in mock up bracing it hardly bent at all. maybe 1/4 of an inch.we put max tension on it with the maximum bend, and we're going to anchor it with rebar covered in pvc (pvc for less injuries).  so far the only bad thing about it is, its white, and its ugly. ahahha. ill post pics as soon as it starts takingshape eh?
