I should know in a few days how much it'll cost to replace the cord system. I'll let you guys know.  I can't imagine they'll do it for no cost, since it's kinda my fault.  Looks like I'll have to rent boots this weekend, hopefully that won't be too big of an adjustment.

this is in interesting update, for anyone who is interested, I brought my boots back today and the owner called their burton rep while I was there, all the store owner told the burton rep was that one of the cords on my boots frayed and broke, and the burton rep was like, “ok, so the cord that broke is the bottom cord of the laces, and its on her back foot, right, the one that's not strapped in to the board” and he was exactly right. So then he asked if any lifts that I ride on don't have a bar that comes down that you can rest your board on while your riding on the lift, and if I ever use my back foot to hold my board up, which I do all the time, soooo basically the edge of my board is what ended up ruining my boots  🙁  they're going to replace the pull cord on that boot for me, not sure if I have to pay yet or not but for those of you that have

my burton boots have pull cords, at some point when I was riding today the lower zone cord totally broke. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I'm not sure how you even would fix this…I'm going to bring them back to where I bought them to see what they can do.  So I'm not sure if this is a common thing with pull cord boots.  These boots were just starting to feel nice and broke in.  I might go back to lace up boots, but was just wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience like this before.

What they told you about waxing dosen't sound right to me…I'm not an expert or anything but I think if you are riding a few times a week you would definitely need to get your board  waxed more than once a year.  I try to get my board hot waxed every 5 or 6 times that I go out.  Like I said I'm not an expert at all with this stuff so I may be missing something…

mmmmm I got to ride my new roxy board today  😀  so far I REALLY like this board.  The first couple of runs with it kinda worried me cuz the extra contact points on the edge really do feel different, almost like your going to catch an edge but it never really happens…. once I got used to this I had a blast on the board… it was sooo cold at Jay this weekend, 10 degrees when we left yesterday with almost white out conditions and a very sketchy drive down the mountain, nicer today but only 12 degrees in the car when we left.  It was soooo worth it, wish you all were here  😉

I'm pretty sure I heard Loverboy's “workin for the weekend” come up, I had to leave the room at that point.  I think that was right after a Heart song finished playing.  I found some other reviews online that werent all positive either.  I wuz thinking I way overpost on here also.  😛 glad its not just me.  I have the worlds slowest dialup so if you look at how much time I spend on this site its like, days.  I'm sure it will take 15 minutes for me just to get this reply back up.

so…rented the xbox version today.  I would say its ok, just ok.  Not great but not terrible.  We have “skate” for xbox and this game doesn't come close to how good skate is.  Im not a hard core gamer or anything, but imo this game's just average.  Also, some of the songs really suck!!

Thanks for the information, that's good to know.  I'm going to definitely hold off on buying and rent first…all the hype of this game”blowing all other games out of the water” that the ads are saying was making me suspicious.  I don't know why theres so much hype with Shaun White anyways he sort of gives me the creeps haha

well, that does kinda suck.  i don't blame you for not wanting to drive that far just to have it rained out.  Hopefully they rescheduled and youll have another chance to compete!
