I figure we should start a video review page. List the name of the video andthe company and props and dislikes and such, so other riders will know whatto stay away from, and what to get stoked on!And lets throw in an added bonus, if you get a video that a member recommendedand you liked it, stoke them! If you don't, diss them. (This will need Frosty's approval,so we'll wait for that). So how about rules, 1 video per post, and no double posting. You should have towait until someone else posts a video recommendation to post another recommendation. If this fly's, I'll start her off….and much to many's surprise, its not a FORUM video!I watched “Last Winter” ironically last winter, and I have to say its an OK film.If you want to watch a bunch of women tour the world and ride in some really awesomelocations, with alot of back country, t

Nice idea Travz//I have been thinking of somehow working the FR reviews into the Forum and then in turn feeding that section into the Reviews section of the site.  This Snowboarding Video Reviews thing is a great idea/addition to the FR reviews.  Sometimes I want to buy a vid online that is a good price but have no idea if it is any good or not.I can toy with the new feeds/data-management stuff about it in the meantime.

And lets throw in an added bonus, if you get a video that a member recommendedand you liked it, stoke them! If you don't, diss them.

What do you mean by this?

        sounds cool

Frosty-I'm the same way. i bought 3 videos from itunes that were horrible, but i bought thembecause of the reviews the users were leaving on itunes. There was this one, whichwas the reason i brought up the stoke/diss thing, where everyone gave it 5 stars thatwas a snowboarding flick….with no snowboarding! I'm serious, there were snowboardsin the background, but it was just a bunch of kids talking about their adventures, butno footage to back it up. and it was $9.99. I'll get back to you about the name of thatone. The stoke/diss thing was like, If you bought the recommended video and you thoughtthat the review was complete b/s, instead of starting a flame post you can diss the userthat recommended it and post your own review, instead of outright saying “so and sodoesn't know what they're talking about, this movie blows and they're an id

I agree with everything except the stoke/diss part.  Actually I do agree with your logic about responses, but I just don't think it is appropriate to use the forums' main respect level gauge for it.  Maybe there is some other way.  I got it, as mods, we can make sure all reviews have a Poll attached to them for agree/disagree.  How about that?

Are you still toying with this idea or did it just go up in flames? lol
