In this video I’ve got 5 tips to help keep you safe in the terrain park. The first tip is to always call your drop in. Whether you are hitting a jump, rail or half pipe, it’s always important to let everyone around you know that you’re dropping next. The second tip is to keep the landings clear below the features. If you want to sit down in the terrain park make sure it’s off to the side and people snowboarding above can see you. The third tip is to never use the lip of a rail as a jump. If you want to practice your jumps you can use the knuckle of the jump or natural rollers. The fourth safety tip is to avoid the busiest times in the terrain park. If you’re new the terrain park the busiest times can be intimidating. The final tip is to take a look at all the features in the terrain park first. This will give you a good visual of the features so you can land your tricks. If you have any questions or tips for terrain park etiquette and safety you can leave them in the comments.
