I cant wait to see what you can put together for footage Frosty! Have you ever used a hero camera? And as soon as I know when we can come out I will let you know.Merry Christmas!
Hi Toan!I'm roughly the same size as you. 5'9 and between 160-180lbs depending on my junk food intake for the month (171 at time of posting). I've found out that a 154 is perfectfor me all mountain, and 156 on a powder day. If you can, try to rent a few sizes for a day or 2 and see what size has that magic feel for you. You could knock the researchout in a day and not spend the rest of the winter wondering if the extra cm's will make a difference.

Absolutely! We're thinking of coming out there for some late season shred too, so we'll have to film us all together. But yeah,if you supply some footage, I can put a short film together pretty easy.
Haha thanks Frosty, but seeing what Forum has put out last year and this, I think I might haveto pick a new favorite board manufacturer!I vote for the Ride and the Custom X.
That is a yes and no answer. There are a few companies that can take your picture and putthem on the bottom of a snowboard. But the few websites that do this only advertise thefact that they can do this and not the quality of their boards. But that is the only way,is to have one printed in the manufacturing process, not after the board is made.If it is something that you really would like over ride quality, I can find these sites again. I amnot sure how good the boards are though and, if I remember correctly, cost $400+.

Shoe goo is a skateboarders best friend. Ive seen some shoes that have stuck around wayyyy longer than they should have thanks to this stuff ahha.
I have to agree on mid-wide as well. Size 11 boots are kind of in the “nice zone” ofbeing able to ride all 3, depending on your stance and riding style. Its kind of a nasty little formula when you factor stance in. By the books, I'd leanon mid-wide at the narrowest. That way you can ride narrow, or wide in your stanceand not have a big amount of toe/heel drag. Then again if you know you ride a widestance, you might be able to get away with riding a regular (over all board length willalso effect this). Best way to test this theory is, pick the board length that you want.If you've been riding long enough to link turns and enjoy riding, you probably have agood idea of your ideal board length, no matter what a size calculator tells you. Rentone from the rental shop and ride your natural stance. What really feels comfortable. If you feel your toes or heels dragI have to agree on mid-wide as well. Everyones riding style is different, whichmakes it hard to completely dial it in. But by the natural law of snowboardingfacts, yes. A mid-wide is the way to go. Now its up to you to see if that is true or not.Good luck! Do some tests, and get back to us! We'll get this solved somehow bro!Absolutely! I really need to get back out west, and another rally would be perfect! So see ya in 2011!
