Well the one I have now is(or was) considered mid wide by burton.    I cant find any rockers that are the same exact widthTechnically, its only  a 3mm difference tho right? :)btw What do you think about rocker snowboards?

I am talking about binding sizing.  You can look at this sizing chart for ride bindings as an example http://www.evogear.com/info/helpcenter/192.aspx .  That tells you what size binding you need for a specific foot size.  For example, Ride's shaped/response line in size Large should work with boot sizes from 8-12.Every manufacturer is different though

How tall are you?  157 and 159 isn't much of a difference.  You should go by the weight recommendations on the snowboard you decide to get.  Ccheck with the manufacturer to see what binding sizing is likenfor them, but you probably need a large.

Welcome to the Frosty Rider!Boots are really something that you have to try on.  I would definately recommend trying on a lot of different boots from different brands to make sure you get a good fit.  Every boot (and foot) is different.  Usually the companies will kind of mold the shape of their bindings/highbacks to the boots that they make.  So if you get Ride boots and bindings, they should work well together. But if you decide to buy a different brand of boots, theres a good chance it will still work well with the binding.  Just check to see how the boot matches up with the binding (mostly making sure the highback has good contact with the boot).  Try different bindings with the boot you choose.

Ok so I took out the footbed and was really surprised at what I saw.  36_05_10_09_2_33_09.jpeg36_05_10_09_2_33_28.jpegThe Footbed is basically (not really) paper thin.  Very surprising. Hopefully, a new footbed will help me.  Thanks a lot for the advice.  I never wouldve actually taken this out and seen how bad it really is.  If anyone wants to see what a boot liner looks like:36_05_10_09_2_33_49.jpegbtw Is that how jbars are supposed to look?  They seem low…

How does it get inside the liner?  And does it replace another footbed(so it's not really tight or anything)

Wow, Salomon makes a lot of boots.  Just one more question, how do you get those footbeds into the boot? Because the boot has the liner part.  Does the footbed go under or on top of that?

Thank you Frosty.  :)I think I willl definately need a new footbed.  Superfeet has me sold with “Powering through toe-side turns strains the foot as the heel lifts inside the boot”.  Sounds just like my problem.  But I think I might actually need some siffer boots as well.  They are kinda soft and dont give me the support I think I want in the toe side turns.  Theyre a little soft ya know?  When I stand up in them and lean forward it really bends in.  Does that happen with your boots  Frosty?  I definately dont want to buy a new pair cuz I just got these last year, but making my feet comfy all day would be worth soooo much money.  What do you think?I am working on more freestyle as well. I like(love) jumps and some rails.  Would something stiffer mess me up doing that stuff? And articulating cuffs sound like they might reduce some pressure on the top o

Well I just found these http://www.electrichandwarmers.com/glove.html  .  I think I will probably just buy mittens lol. I love the idea of having fingers but I guess I'll have to deal with mittens.  Its not too hard to carry your snowboard and strap in and what not though right?I think frosty wears mittens…
