Maybe you could try puting a plastic bag over it and rubber band it right before the lens…- if you don't wanna spend money, then iguess you can just be creative 🙂
So should the screws on both sides be in the same position? And how much toe/heal hang should there be?

Thanks a lot :)One more thing, someone told me it should have a “waxy feel to it”. Is that true or does it just need to feel smooth(sides maybe some minor scratches)?
I looked and my base is mostly like a gray color, but I can see that like an inch in from the edges there is some whiteness. It still feels as slick as the rest though. Is that worth getting waxed?
I went snorkeling once and I think they/I used toothpaste. I wouldnever put any a that stuff on my snowboard goggles though lol
