October 21, 2008 at 4:11 pm #2932That does sound sweet, I would love to spend a few months hittin up resorts all over the country…maybe during better economic times…But I'll be heading to Salt Lake for a week in January, then a weekend in Tahoe with a whole bunch of friends in a cabin. Other than that, just trying to head up to tahoe as often as possible.
October 23, 2008 at 4:30 am #2937thanks, i hope it is going to rock. being almost dormant all summer long and hardly doing anythingreally let me save up a huge bank account for doing all of this.and the economy does suck, i know i should save it and stay home…but i gave up almost 6 monthsof my life to save for this winter. and i can use the footage as a project for school and my resumewhich i really need.josh, where are you riding at?
December 16, 2008 at 10:09 am #3066Hey allScotland calling!!! We've had a great start to the season with The Lecht (Cairngorms) open as early as 31st October (that's really early for us!). I'm off to Les Arcs (France) for Christmas. No presents for me, just snow and slopes…… 😆
December 16, 2008 at 4:15 pm #3067I would love to be able to go snowboarding in Europe. Are lift tickets expensive? Post pics if you have them! 🙂
December 17, 2008 at 12:51 am #3069Me too! I can imagine myself racing down the French and Swiss Alps…its enough to make we wanna book a flight now! But considering the exchange rate right now, everything in euros is already gonna cost almost double what it costs in dollars… :(You're better off going to Whistler, exchange rate is nearly the same…that's another resorts that on my dream list
December 17, 2008 at 11:10 am #3072Les Arcs is E203 for a week. Quite expensive, but not as far a Whistler for me!! I'd love to go there!! Will try and post pics when I get back! Have a great Christmas and New Year! 😀
December 17, 2008 at 9:29 pm #3074Hope you have a great trip. I would love to go anywhere where you can ride in open snowfields above the treeline. I've never done that before. 🙂
January 8, 2009 at 10:23 pm #3131Beautiful, beautiful Les Arcs. I'm in love with the Alps
January 9, 2009 at 12:16 am #3132Sarah i'm so jealous!! I would love to snowboard the Alps. So you had a good trip I take it 😀
January 11, 2009 at 5:00 am #3133The Alps are truly awesome. I got to go to Davos and St Moritz (both in CH) a few years back. It was sweet 🙂Â
January 12, 2009 at 6:38 pm #3149It was amazing. It even snowed on Christmas day. There's loads of off piste at Les Arcs, brilliant! We stayed in a beautiful chalet with a host and he even cooked Christmas dinner for us! I think we're definately going to go to France again (prob next year as £ is really weak at the moment). I'm praying for more snow in Scotland now so that I can take flex days from work and do something fun!!!Sx
January 13, 2009 at 1:21 am #3162That sounds like a dream holiday! Do you normally get a lot of snow where you are in Scotland?
