Okay, so I'm kinda starting to get the length and weight concept when buying a board, but now what about width/waist size.  So If I'm 12 1/2 and I go with a bigger board to grow into 146 Morrow-Radium(great price) and the waist is a 24.3 and my boot is like a size 6.5 -7 is that okay?  I checked out a kids board size 138 and the waist is 23.2.  According to Frosty's size calculator I should be in like a 138 board with a 235 waist…the waist on the 138 board I checked out online is smaller than that, it's 232 and my feet seem to grow kinda fast, and eventually I've gotta get taller.  With a longer board to grow into should the slightly bigger waist size be okay (24.3).  I know lotsa questions just try`n to catch on.  I've always just hit the rental shops hopped on my board and had a wikkked time.  Now I gotta think about it all and wan

I normally would not recommend growing in to a board.  My motto is “I wouldn't plan on 'growing in to' a snowboard size unless you plan on 'growing in to' a good time.”But in your case, you really are stuck between Kids' and Men's sizing, so I would have to recommend going with the small Men's boards.  Yeah, you probably could ride a 24.3 cm waist width board like the Radium, but I wouldn't go any wider.
