I am thinking about it. Like Frosty I have a Custom but I think I want a wide board this year for my size 11's. I am looking at the Salomon Tempest not sure though. I have heard nothing but good things about Salomon so we will see. May just keep the Custom, it could be that I am just jonesing rgiht now for some snow I don't know.
Man I had no idea that we had this many east coasters on here. Maybe we should plan a get together for next season, who knows maybe Frosty would even fly out.
Hey man Wintergreen (Virginia) has there opening date set for the 29th of November. I know that's not primo but it should give you an idea of what to expect.
I hear that wakeboarding is kind of the same. I have never tried it but that is what I hear. So if you have any friends with a boat…….
I paid like $5 for my Dakine at an end of season sale. You can pretty much get them anywhere online. Try one of the sites that Frosty recommends, they are all quality and you should expect to pay no more than about $10 but since it is late in the season you can shop around for good deals.
I would definately rock one or 2 of those.
I would say that in the front it is not to bad, about 1 to 1.5 inches but in the back maybe 1.5 to 2. It is really hard to tell. I need to get my bindings centered on the board. I have taken it out once in the slush and didn't notice any problems but I am wondering as I progress if it will become a factor. I will probably experiment with angles and stance over the summer and see what that does for me. I am probably going to look for a wide board over the summer but I love how the custom feels. Thanks,Michael
