Hey all.Recently moved to Uni and just been for a session on the dryslope. Whilst it is a steep learning curve I have one issue which bothers me. I noticed this whilst on snow as well but it was less of an issue. I seem to have a lot of weight placed in my backfoot whilst riding which causes me to wipeout and have more difficulty turning. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could shift my weight more central or other thoughts. If it helps, i'm now riding my burton customs on a used Burton King I got off ebay (£31!) There are a couple things to try to get your balance more centered on the board.1) Keep your front knee bent all the time while riding.  You will notice your balance will improve greatly.2) Increase the forward lean on your front binding.  This will assist in keeping your front knee bent more as well as improve turn initiation.

This is great advise, be aware for the first few times riding you might find your leg burns a bit but stick with it as this all helps the muscle memory
