Tip 1 Find a pair of snowboard goggles that fits well to your face. My goggles feel comfortable on my face. There are no gaps where snow can get in and they sit with me eyes in the centre of the lens. Tip 2 Know what kind of snowboard goggle lens you need. Lenses come in all different colours which are good for different light conditions. If you do a lot of riding at night, or your resort doesn’t get allot of sun, you’ll want a low light lense. The colour are tipically yellow or orange. If your resort get a lot of sun you want darker lense with a brown, grey, mirrored or polarized lens. Tip 3 get a frame that size is big enough you can see you peripherals. If you can see your lense frame or feels like your looking through a tunnerl then your goggle probably too small. My goggles are big enough that I can barely see the frames and my peripherals are totally clear. My goggle lens is also spherical which help for seeing with your peripherals. Tip 4 Try your goggles on with your helmet. You want the curve of you goggles to fit the brim of your helmet. If you have big gap between your goggles and helmet, cold air and snow will get in there giving you all sorts of problems. Tip 5 Shop around and get a snowboard goggle in your price range.
