A tailgrab involves grabbing the tail (the rear end opposite the tip, all the way back) of your snowboard with your rear hand while in the air.
How to perform a tailgrab:
- As you approach a jump or kicker, pop off the lip.
- While in the air, bend your knees and bring your rear hand down and back to grab the tail of the board.
- Hold the grab for a moment and then release it before preparing to land.
