Just been and spoken to the guys at Subvert Boardstore. They recommended some boards and I would like your opinions. The three boards were:-K2 World Wide Weapon http://k2snowboarding.com/snowboards/www-wide#ReviewHeader (They recommended this board at around 155cm)-Ride Kink http://ridesnowboards.com/snowboards/kink-Burton Blunt http://global.burton.com/mens-boards-blunt-snowboard/252213,default,pd.html?start=7&cgid=mens-boardsAll of the boards were wide versions. In terms of bindings they recommended the Burton Cartels.Any opinions would be appreciated.

Well, there are a good variety of boards out there, but from looking at your specs (which was really cool of you to lay out like that) I have come up with three suggestions of my own for you.- Ride Manic Wide Snowboard 160- Rome Crail Wide Snowboard 158- Rossignol Taipan Amptek Midwide Snowboard 158As for the bindings, the Burton Cartels are always a good choice.  Great proven performance and reliability.Remember though, of you choose a non-Burton board, get the Cartels with the 4-hole pattern, not the 3-hole or channel.  😎

Thanks for the reply Frosty.I really like the look of your suggestions, especially the Taipan. 😎 I will have to see if there is somewhere I can demo them nearby. Also, have you had any experiences with the K2 World Wide Weapon? I really like the look of this board and want to know if anyone has tried it?

K2 World Wide Weapon seems like a good jib board.  I haven't tried it yet.  Yeah, the Taipan is a nice board!

Went to a shop at an indoor snow slope and got my setup. Unfortunately I didn't get to try any of the boards mentioned in this thread. 🙁 However, i am now the proud owner of a 10/11 Bataleon Goliath snowboard, and 11/12 Burton Custom Bindings.  😎

Nice!  Thanks for checking back in with us.  Can't wait to see how you like it out on the mountain.  😎

Just got back from a week in Val Thorens, France with my new board. The Goliath is one hell of a board! Very stable at speed. The triple base prevented much of the edge catch on the cut up runs. Definitely stoked on triple base now. 😀

Glad you like that Bataleon Goliath board.  I am going to have to check out the triple base TBT thing some more.  Seems really forgiving.Val Thorens, France?  No way!I have always wanted to go there!  I bet it was awesome.  Did you get any pics?
