December 21, 2008 at 8:51 pm #3089I got hit by a car about two weeks before the season. Let me tell you i am lucky… I pretty much should be dead but i went to the hospital for three hours and then went to the homecoming football game with my date. Good news i can ski…bad news lost the girl due to a shitty homecoming.
December 24, 2008 at 1:18 pm #3094^- dude that sucks so hard! getting hit by cars suck. what was wrong with the driver? drinking or something? or was it an honest mistake? sucks you lost the girl due to a bad homecoming though. goodluck on your recovery!update on my season – i got shanked hardcore by a gate skiier that bombed a blue freestyle park run (wtf seriously why are you going to see how fast you can ride down a run that has rails, bonks, kickers, and wall rides). i got hit so hard it broke my already injured ankle and did something to my left knee cap (i cant extend my left leg all the way right now and this has been since saturday morning), and he completely destroyed a friend of mine who might have a broken nose and a mild concussion. The guy was ejected from the mountain (for his own safety, me and my friend were going to “repay the favor” but the ski patrol stopped us) and after^- dude that sucks so hard! getting hit by cars suck. what was wrong with the driver? drinking or something? or was it an honest mistake? sucks you lost the girl due to a bad homecoming though. goodluck on your recovery!update on my season – i got shanked hardcore by a gate skiier that bombed a blue freestyle park run (wtf seriously why are you going to see how fast you can ride down a run that has rails, bonks, kickers, and wall rides). i got hit so hard it broke my already injured ankle and did something to my left knee cap (i cant extend my left leg all the way right now and this has been since saturday morning), and he completely destroyed a friend of mine who might have a broken nose and a mild concussion. I'm out till end of january at the earliest, and i have a crack in my nice freestyle board and in my rail board (my buddy was riding it) :(goodluck to all of you, 09 is evidently NOT my season hahahah.December 24, 2008 at 5:29 pm #3096D@mn travz thats freaken messed up. i dunnno wat to say – good thing your still alive? lolBut that sucks bro. January 7, 2009 at 3:05 am #3126well i was really hoping i would never have to add my own story here, but i am out for awhile 🙁 I fell on saturday, i was off of a trail in the trees, because there was more powdery snow in there, (but apparently not enough, ugh), i ran into a tree branch or something under the snow and fell, when i fell i landed full force on my side on a tree stump kinda thing that was sticking up a under the snow. i went to the drs yesterday, i have a bruised rib and a hematoma (? i think thats what it is, its like a severe bruise), im lucky thats all it ended up being. So lets hope i am the last one to have to post their story here this season!
