So this year ive been trying to cut back on clothing so im not wearing so much (works really good and i stay warm). So for pants im just wearing the base layer and my snowboard pants. And my snowboard pants are really thiin so i have like no padding. And occasionally ill fall on my knees on icey spots annd it hurts like heck. I cant imagine hitting a jump or something and landing on my knees that would suck BAD. So do most people do the ^above^ or should I add some sweat pants or somethin for extra cushion?
get some skate pads. like half pipe knee pads. they're usually pretty stream line.or do it like the rest of us and suck it up, be a man :lol:i live south so i dont even wear a base layer. boxers and snowpants! i just tryto make sure i land on my back 😆

hahaha i should have taken a pic of my knee from last time i rode. the whole cap was scabbed overfrom where i landed and slid on my left knee cap probably around 30ft across solid ice. it was soogross man. the liner in my snowpants was red on my left leg haha.
nah, that was the same trip i broke my ankle though. its just one of those things man. ya know?its ashame you cant go to vermont in april! ill be there riding with rowan!
