my firend recommened the ride timeless baords. but those are expensive..im only a beginner so im looking to spend up to 250-300 on a board max. bindings and boots will be like under 400 i hope? any suggestions for the board? bindings and boots suggestions would help so much too. i am 5'8 (5'9) with size 9.5 boots. i weigh 165 pounds. thanks!

I would say a 155 would be just right for you. The House has a GREAT package deal where you can get a board, boots, and bindings all under $400. so frosty. what would you say is my sidecut and eff edge and waist. i dont even know what those are. haha. there seem to be a lot of boards that have the same specs as the rossignol sultan. some only come in 157 but i think that would be ok? for example the 156 cm legion seems to be a great deal. idk if its for me though. or the k2 illusion. and this goes without being said but boards that last me a few years is good too. haha thansk
The effective edge and sidecut radius are things not nearly as important as board width and overall length, a very experienced snowboarder would be picky about those things.IMO, I think Rossi boards last longer than K2. K2s are very fun rides, but might not be a coincidence I have busted every one I have ever owned.The Legion is a nice board too. The build is not much different, but a bit more freestyle oriented (centered for ease of switch riding and quicker turning).
yea i think imgoing to go with the rossignol packages. between legion, scope, and sultan. which would you choose? still go with the sultan? i would like a board that isnt toooo noobish as well so i dont have to buy a new one in two years.
