Or for extra style points,line up, then toe tap over to switch on the take off.Now for the 180. Regular 180's are pretty straight forward. Its one of those tricks that if you commit, you'll probablyland it. Backsides are no different. You're blind for the take off, but remember, you'll be back around way before thelanding so dont be scared. Then, when you get that down, start tweaking it. Sometimes i'll drag my back hand onthe takeoff and do the whole trick horizontal to the ground. you just have to remember to correct for the laid backposition. Don't be afraid to jetski if you take this route. I usually land almost all tail and use my hand against the snowto balance myself back out.The grab is really basic. Mute, just reach down inbetween your bindings. Very simple. Technically I think mutes arestrictly backside spin grabs, I havent seen many frontside mutes. but technically, you can do it.Methods are a bit trickier, as you do need air time to pull this off. you can do method taps on small jumps, just dontexpect to hold it. Come up to the jump ready to throw 180, once the board leaves the ramp start pulling the board upback behind you, reach behind you with your front hand and grab the board on the heelside edge between thebindings. Start small and just work on getting the grab and releasing, and when you get better, try pulling it furtherand further. you can even try shifting the board to give it your own little signature points.I'm excited for the season, as you all can probably tell haha.hope to hear more of you guys fav tricks!
