September 30, 2009 at 10:18 pm #312Ok so I have (really) bad circulation to my fingers (not official), and whenever I go snowboarding my fingers get really cold. I have Level gloves which are supposed to be really good. Most of the time I also wear glove liners along with a hand warmer (tight fit lol). btw the glove liners warm my hand but not my fingers. But even on not super cold days I get very close(probably not lol) to frostbite after just a few runs. So are there any gadgets that can help keep your fingers warm. Im thinking like a battery powered glove liner. Or maybe a hand warmer that just wraps around the fingers. Or are there any techniques or something like that to make circulation better maybe? I really dont want to have to buy mittens (especially another $100 pair of levels which is what it would do) (unless theres another good brand like that?)Thanks a lot in advance. My fingers also freeze when I wear gloves, the only solution for me was to buy mittens (I ended up paying like $70 for mittens that were rated for super cold weather). Hopefully you won't have to go that route but it was the only thing that worked for me. On super cold, below zero days I wear those disposable hand warmers inside the mittens, one usually lasts 4-5 hours. Costco sells them by the box, which is a lot cheaper than paying a couple dollars each for them at the resort.
October 1, 2009 at 1:54 am #3465Well I just found these http://www.electrichandwarmers.com/glove.html . I think I will probably just buy mittens lol. I love the idea of having fingers but I guess I'll have to deal with mittens. Its not too hard to carry your snowboard and strap in and what not though right?I think frosty wears mittens…

I can do pretty much everything with mittens that I can with gloves. I think you'll be fine if you go the mittens route.
