December 14th – 17th or so I'll be in Denver visiting friends MAYBE and want to knowwho is hanging out in the area and if anyone wants to go ride?I dont care what resort it is, but I want to go somewhere awesome, vail, breckenridge,loveland, aspen, doesnt matter.So if someone on here is free around that weekend and in the area let me know!we'll have to go shred out!

except the lift ticket prices holy !@#$ they have issues with prices.other than loveland, it ranges from $75-115! A DAY!$115 is a season pass in the lower east side c'mon!though one of my buds told me to hit up craigslist because peoplesell tickets on there for cheap. but still….what a rip! maybe ill justrent a suv and go back country!
Ya 100 for a lift ticket is just stupid lol. They shouldnt even have to make snow or anything out there which should make it cheaper.Thats weird how can they sell tickets? Craigslist sounds dangerous lol
yeah im kinda wondering how craigslist thing works too. our season passes have ourpictures on them and they're laminated. but a resort to the east of us, if you get a seasonpass, you get a little card and they mail you a bunch of “whenever” lift tickets and youjust use em, and if you run out you just ask for more. just blank tickets that says seasonpass member. it might be something like that. but the beauty of craigslist is i can meetthe guy in person and check the ticket out in real life before buying it, so we'll see howthat works.
I used to live in Colorado and the combination of reliable snow, terrain, and selection of mountains is really hard to beat. Yeah, I know they get a lot of money for their day passes there, that's why I worked at the mountain most of the time (for the free pass as a perk). For the times I didn't I got the Summit Pass (A.K.A. Buddy Pass). It used to be like half the price. Now it is $459. But still a good buy if you are going more than 5 or 6 times that season.Now if you are going to only be there for a weekend or something, here is a little secret. You can get discounted lift passes from Safeway or King Soopers grocery stores.I found this on the internet, may help if you plan on staying in the Denver area.Looking for a King Soopers near you? 1331 North Speer Blvd Denver, CO 80204 303-571-5566 1155 East Ninth Avenue Denver, Cyou are my hero. i was about to throw in the towel on this one and just rent a snow mobile andhit the back country with someone from the area but im going to check that place out.i owe you one man!
Yeah, Frosty gave you probably the best place to buy a lift ticket, unless your a KBPI member on random wednesdays and can get a Breck lift ticket for $10. But another thing to remember is to fill up your tank before you leave Denver. I am out in West Denver and gas here is around $1.59/gallon and up in Dillon/Silverthorne where Keystone is just on the other side of the divide, gas is still around $2.25/gallon. In Idaho Springs it is up to $1.79 so it is a bit more but not as bad as across the divide. Even in my SUV I can still make it to Breck and back without needing to fill up again.Enjoy your time out here. I am working those days that you are around here. But a couple days later I will actually be in Northern Michigan at the resorts out there visiting family.

I am actually looking forward to paying less than $50 to go ride. Loveland got 44″ of powder and I was so tempted to skip work and go out and pay the price just to enjoy the day. I would have paid $100 to have a 44 inch powder day.
